Role OverviewThis attorney will support CarMax and its captive finance division – CarMax Auto Finance (CAF) – as an associate on the Finance Legal Team. This includes providing legal counsel and operational risk management for compliance with consumer laws relevant to CarMax and CAF’s Compliance Management System (CMS).
What You Will Do
Analyze and deliver legal guidance on several subject matters under the CAF CMS, coordinate with various CarMax and CAF operations partners, and provide legal guidance to and management oversight of paralegals.

Requirements
- A law degree
- A member in good standing with the bar of a U.S. jurisdiction
- 5 or more years of legal practice experience or other comparable experience
- Previous financial services or other regulatory experience preferred
