Job Description
Correction Specialist will oversee and evaluate all phases of unit program, develop guidelines and procedures, and provide training and support to unit staff. The role will also provide quality assurance for reports, intake tools, and case plans, and ensure core programs are continuously offered to meet the needs of the offender population.

Requirements

  • 5 yrs. exp. as a Correctional Program Specialist, Case Manager or Social Worker
  • completion of associate core program in social or behavioral science or criminal justice or health and human services; 3 yrs. & 6 mos. exp. as a Correctional Program Specialist, Case Manager or Social Worker
  • completion of undergraduate core program in social or behavioral science or criminal justice or health and human services; 3 yrs. exp. as a Correctional Program Specialist, Case Manager or Social Worker
