Correctional Security Consultant I

Job Description
This position is responsible for implementing, analyzing, and maintaining security systems at state prison facilities, including conducting feasibility studies and performing surveys to audit and maintain existing systems. The Correctional Security Consultant I will also recommend new security systems or revisions to upgrade existing security systems, and ensure all agency network infrastructure and fiber are maintained.

Requirements

  • Experience in the installation, maintenance, and repair of electronic security systems, telecommunications systems, or related equipment
  • Ability to read and interpret schematics and blueprints
  • Familiarity with security and detention instructional techniques and practices
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Physical ability to lift and carry 50 lbs
