Role OverviewThis position is located at Caswell Correctional Center with a duty assignment to the medium custody facility. The Correctional Sergeant II provides first-line supervision for Correctional Officer II's in a medium custody facility.
What You Will Do
The Correctional Sergeant II will supervise all correctional officer activities and performance, ensure the custody, security, and welfare of offenders is maintained, and conduct shift line-up assignments.

Requirements
- High School or General Educational Development (GED) diploma
- Two years six months of experience as a Correctional Officer
- Two years of experience as Correctional Officer II
- Certification by the N.C. Criminal Justice Education and Training and Standards Commission
