Role OverviewReporting to the Correctional Associate Warden of Operations, this position provides supervision of subordinate officers and their assigned tasks and activities regarding the custody and welfare of male offenders in a Minimum/Medium/Close custody state correctional facility.
What You Will Do
Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to, conducting shift line-up, making shift assignments, inspecting personnel, completing and reviewing time reports, duty rosters, leave schedules, performance evaluations, and administrative forms.

The ideal candidate will have knowledge of facility operations, prisons' policy and procedures, and be eligible for certification by the North Carolina Criminal Justice Education & Training Standards Commission.
Requirements
- Meet Criminal Justice Standards requirements (12 NCAC 09G .0302)
- Pass a criminal background check
- Produce a negative drug screening result
- Successfully complete medical and psychological evaluations
- Possess a valid driver's license
