Role OverviewThe Structural Designer is responsible for creating cost-effective, structurally sound traditional and protective packaging as well as point-of-purchase (POP) display solutions. This role includes redesigning elements for improved cost, performance, and functionality while providing technical support to internal teams and clients.
What You Will Do
Design packaging solutions for corrugated boxes and other materials, collaborate with Sales to understand client needs, develop designs based on appearance, functionality, and client/retail specifications, and present design concepts to clients.

The ideal candidate will have experience in packaging design, a solid understanding of materials and manufacturing processes, and proficiency in design tools such as ArtiosCAD. Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills are also required.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Minimum of 3 years of packaging design experience with a strong portfolio
- Comprehensive knowledge of the design process from concept to production
- Strong understanding of costing systems and manufacturing processes to optimize profitability and compatibility with production equipment
- Familiarity with ISTA testing requirements for packaging
- Proficiency with Illustrator, Photoshop, and 3D design tools is a plus
