Cost Accounting Analyst

Requirements

• Collaborate with Operations, Supply Chain, and Finance to interpret cost results and identify improvement.
• Maintain the ERP system costing and track the flow of inventory through the ERP system.
• Responsible for ensuring timely and accurate monthly closing.
• Maintain strong internal controls around cost and inventory accounting.
• Lead initiatives to automate and improve cost and inventory accounting.
• Responsible for the budget process of settling inventory standard costs and completing the mid-year and year-end cost roll projects.
• Ability to manage and evaluate current projects and time available to meet project deadlines.
• Identify inefficiencies in a process and create ways to accomplish goals.
• Maintain inventory standard costs timely and accurately.
• Manage time to complete all tasks in monthly close and reporting
• Support cost accounting projects including year-end cost calculation, financial audit, and new reporting.
