Role OverviewFacilitate project execution, manage cost controls, and ensure compliance to budget, scope, and schedule during all stages of projects. Work in a surface mine plant setting, which may include exposure to extremes in temperature and humidity.
What You Will Do
Perform basic day-to-day accounting functions, analysis and forecasting of expenditures, and reporting on project performance. Manage budget updates and reforecasts, develop and implement mitigation strategies, and manage project general ledger accounts and month-end processes.
Why It Might Be a Fit
3-7 years of accounting experience in a related field, certifications in accounting or cost control, and degree qualified in an accounting or finance related discipline. Knowledge of finance and accounting best practices, advanced computer skills, and knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
