Role OverviewWe are seeking an experienced Cost Estimator to support U.S. Navy facilities and infrastructure projects based at the Government facilities onboard NSA Naples, Italy. You will develop, review, and validate construction cost estimates throughout the project lifecycle, collaborating with project teams to ensure accurate budgeting, cost analysis, and informed decision-making.
What You Will Do
Provide independent construction cost estimating support and consultation for the planning, design, construction, renovation, repair, maintenance, demolition, and facilities development of Navy, Marine Corps, and other Supported Command projects. Develop, review, reconcile, and validate construction cost estimates for military and shore facility projects.
Why It Might Be a Fit
Must have 5 years of professional construction cost estimating experience, including new construction, renovation, repair, demolition, maintenance, and construction contract modifications. Knowledge of construction cost estimating principles, methodologies, analytical techniques, and industry-standard estimating practices for a wide range of facility and military construction projects.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering, Cost Estimating, Quantity Surveying, Business, Economics, or a related field
- Certified Cost Professional (CCP) by AACE International, Tri-Service Cost Consultant registration, or an equivalent construction cost estimating credential
- Minimum 5 years of professional construction cost estimating experience
- Knowledge of construction cost estimating principles, methodologies, analytical techniques, and industry-standard estimating practices
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Autodesk or similar design-viewing software, cost estimating software, and MII/MCACES, RSMeans, PACES, or similar project management and estimating tools
- Valid US driver's license
