Role OverviewThe Counsel, Venues & Technology role is a key legal advisor supporting MSG and its affiliates on a wide range of venue, technology, digital, and commercial initiatives. They will provide strategic counsel on IT, software licensing and development, and emerging technologies.
What You Will Do
Provide legal representation for MSGE and its affiliates in connection with all aspects of its technology efforts, including information technology (IT), software licensing, internet, mobile app development, connectivity, IP ownership, virtual/augmented reality and other digital/technology endeavors.

Requirements
- Law degree and admission (or eligibility for admission) to the New York bar, or eligibility to practice in New York as registered in-house counsel.
- 3-5 years of experience in the practice of law.
- Excellent contract drafting, interpretation, analysis and negotiation skills.
- Strong analytical skills to identify and prioritize legal risks.
- Flexible and creative thinker.
- Knowledge of technology-related regulations and best practices, commercial law and related areas.
- Strong communication and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple matters at once.
