Role Overview

The Counseling Liaison will work with the Sonoma County Office of Education (SCOE) to support and empower public school districts in the region. The role requires at least one year of experience as a credentialed professional in a school district and a valid California Pupil Personnel Services Credential with the School Counseling specialization. The ideal candidate will have a background or experience in restorative practices, implementing the YouthTruth survey, and delivering or receiving transformational coaching.

What You Will Do

The Counseling Liaison will work with school districts to support student success, implement restorative practices, and deliver transformational coaching. The role will also involve working with the SCOE team to develop and implement strategies to support student access to rich educational opportunities in safe and supportive learning environments.

Requirements

  • Masters Degree from an accredited college or university with an emphasis in education or closely related field
  • At least one year experience as a credentialed professional in a school district
  • Valid California Pupil Personnel Services Credential with the School Counseling specialization

  • Background or experience in implementing the YouthTruth survey in an educational setting
