Role OverviewWe are seeking a Bachelor's-level Counselor to join our team at Riverview Wellness Village in Philadelphia. This role provides individual and group therapy to individuals with substance use disorders, using strong clinical skills to assess needs, support engagement, and promote recovery.
What You Will Do
Conduct effective individual and group therapy, assess client needs, manage caseload, track progress, and re-engage individuals as needed, coordinate care and connect clients to community resources.

The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor’s degree in clinical psychology, counseling psychology, psychology, addictions studies, social work or related field with specialty or concentration in counseling, and at least one year experience in a health or human service agency, preferably in a drug and alcohol setting.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in clinical psychology, counseling psychology, psychology, addictions studies, social work or related field with specialty or concentration in counseling
- At least one year experience in a health or human service agency, preferably in a drug and alcohol setting
- Actively working towards a credential through PCB (i.e., CAAC, CADC, CAADC, CCS), or be actively working toward licensure or certification
- Licensure or certification will need to be achieved within two to three (2 - 3) years of hire, depending on requirements
