Role OverviewJoin our In-School Counselor Program as a dedicated and compassionate Counselor to support students' mental and emotional well-being at School Lane Charter School in Bensalem, PA. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in helping students identify and manage issues impacting their educational experience.
What You Will Do
Provide individual and group counseling, implement IEPs, actively listen to students, develop strategies to improve overall well-being and academic performance, collaborate with school staff, and connect students and families with community resources.

Requirements
- Master’s degree in counseling, social work, psychology, or a related mental health field
- Holds or is pursuing a license as a mental health care professional, i.e. LSW, LCSW, LPC or LMFT
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with students, families, and school staff
- Experience in counseling or working with youth in an educational setting is preferred
- Knowledge of mental health issues and community resources
- Experience working within a school setting desired
