Role OverviewThe Counselor, Part-time - Woods Mullen Shelter will work with the Homeless Services Bureau to provide emergency shelter, workforce development, and housing services to individuals experiencing homelessness. The role will involve ensuring the safety of guests, developing positive relationships, and maintaining a stable environment.
What You Will Do
The Counselor will perform rounds, search clients for contraband, intervene in conflict situations, and develop positive professional relationships with guests. They will also monitor and serve meals, coordinate food and supplies, and perform administrative tasks.

Requirements
- Associate of Science Degree OR High School Diploma / GED
- 1 year of related experience
- Experience working with addicted and mentally ill populations
- Experience working with diverse ethnic, racial, and low-income populations
- Valid, active Massachusetts (MA) driver's license
