Role OverviewJoin OPmobility as a Country Engineering & Development Assembly Leader, where you'll lead the Manufacturing Engineering Assembly team, manage day-to-day activities, and ensure optimal service to projects. You'll contribute to supplier panel development, support project-related activities, and ensure benchmarking and technology monitoring for assembly processes and equipment. This role requires a strong technical background in assembly techniques and industrial equipment, with a focus on safety and ergonomics.
What You Will Do
Your main responsibilities will include leading the team, managing project activity rates, and ensuring 100% equipment validation before transfer and plant buy-off. You'll also provide operational support for essential, significant, or new questions concerning assembly processes and equipment, and lead ongoing benchmarking to improve assembly technologies and methodologies.

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree with relevant experience, or a master's degree in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, or automation
- Fluent English communication skills
- Good understanding of health, safety, ergonomics, and industrial risk prevention
- Strong technical background in assembly techniques and industrial equipment
- Safety- and ergonomics-focused mindset
- External candidates: Experience in a similar position with a Tier 1 automotive supplier
- Internal candidates: More than three years of extensive professional experience in a relevant role
