County Manager

The County Manager is responsible for the organization's county behavioral health operations, including implementing organizational strategies, functional management, and oversight of county service lines. The role involves supervising staff, organizing resources, managing the county budget, and monitoring the work process.

What You Will Do

The County Manager will be responsible for the overall performance of the county, including service delivery outcomes, financial sustainability, and growth. They will also oversee and provide support to supervisors, providers, and other direct reports, and work closely with the regional director to develop and implement operational strategies.

Requirements

• A high school degree or GED equivalent is required
• A bachelor's degree in social work, education, counseling, psychology, or another related field is preferred
• A master's degree in social work, education, counseling, psychology, or another related field is preferred
• Active license in the state of Ohio as an LSW/LPC, LISW/LPCC/PhD/IMFFT is preferred
• 5 years of direct relevant experience in healthcare, behavioral health or a related field is required
• 3 years of experience as a leader in a healthcare setting is required
• Budgetary experience is required
• Experience working within Electronic Health Record systems is required
• Experience working with multi-system youth, or individuals with autism and/or developmental disabilities, is preferred
• Working knowledge of local, state, and federal regulations is required
• Ability to analyze a monthly financial statement and prepare detailed budgets and operating forecasts is required
• A positive, innovative approach to problem-solving is required
• Presents ideas clearly, concisely, understandably, and organized is required
• Ability to work independently as a project leader and team member is required
• Ability to relate well with others, even while working at a distance or remotely is required
• Ability to work in an efficient manner with a high level of accuracy, attention to detail, and follow-through is required
• Excellent time management and general organizational skills is required
• Proficient computer skills, including working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, e-mail systems, and web-based programs is required
• Advanced communication skills, both oral and written is required
• Knowledge to all local, state, and federal guidelines pertaining to HIPAA privacy standards and laws is required
• Knowledge of Medicaid regulations and compliance requirements is required
• A valid driver's license and the ability to operate a motor vehicle is required
• An appropriate level of auto insurance coverage is required
• The ability to maintain confidential information is required
• Ability to manage deadlines within a fast-paced, high-volume environment is required
• Ability to operate in an Internet-based, automated office environment is required
• The ability to maintain a high-speed internet connection is required
