Job Description
The Superior Court of California, County of Alameda is seeking a Court Attendant to monitor the courtroom, ensure order and silence, and provide assistance to judicial officers, court staff, and the public. The position requires a non-sworn classification that provides courtroom support and performs general and routine security-related duties.

Requirements

  • Two years of full-time clerical and security services experience in a courtroom, corrections, public safety, probation, and/or private security company
  • Successful completion of 30 semester units or 45 quarter units of course work in criminal justice administration, law enforcement administration, or legal studies from an accredited college or university
  • Ability to work throughout various court locations within Alameda County
