Role OverviewCoastal Horizons is seeking a highly organized and compassionate Court Coordinator to manage the daily operations of our Mental Health and WOW Courts. This vital role coordinates participants, court staff, and treatment providers, ensuring smooth operations and effective communication. The ideal candidate will be passionate about supporting individuals in recovery.
What You Will Do
Maintain participant files, track compliance, prepare court documents, and assist the Judge during sessions. Serve as a liaison among participants, the judiciary, treatment providers, and community partners. Manage databases, generate reports, and provide general administrative assistance. Offer empathetic support and connect participants with essential community resources.
Why It Might Be a Fit
The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in a related field, two years of experience in a court, social services, or case management setting, and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and database management. A Master's degree and experience with mental health and/or substance use disorders are preferred.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in Criminal Justice, Social Work, Psychology, Public Administration, or a closely related field
- Two (2) years of experience in a court, social services, or case management setting
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and database management
- Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and work independently
- Valid North Carolina Driver's License
