Court Security Deputy

The Court Security Deputy maintains the security and safety of employees, the Detention Facility, Courthouse, and county buildings. They perform routine work, including opening and closing the building, providing front door security, and checking for contraband. The role involves providing courtroom security, assisting transport officers, and making arrests when required. The Deputy also patrols secure areas, monitors equipment, and responds to alarms.

They also assist transport officers, patrol secure areas, and make arrests when necessary. Additionally, they monitor equipment, respond to alarms, and perform other similar duties.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Current and valid Colorado Driver's License
• Colorado Certified Peace Officer Certification
