Role Overview

A Court Security Officer provides protective services at or around United State Federal Court Houses or other areas as assigned under a contract to the U.S. Marshals Service (USMS).

Duties include enforcing the District's entry and identification system, patrolling court facilities and grounds, providing focused surveillance, and directing traffic.
