Job Description
Operates, maintains, and makes repairs to cranes, gantries, shovels, and other equipment. Responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of assigned equipment.

Requirements

  • Four years of full-time experience as a crane operator or three years of experience plus one year of maintaining or repairing cranes
  • Valid Hoisting Machine Operator's License (basic license) issued by the New York City Department of Buildings
  • Pass a medical examination prior to appointment and thereafter
  • Pass a drug screening prior to appointment
  • Meet TWIC requirements (Transportation Worker Identification Credential)
