Role Overview

Join our team as a Crane Service Technician and be part of a 50+ year legacy to provide unmatched customer service! Perform inspections, maintenance, and repairs on overhead cranes and hoists in accordance with OEM manuals and OSHA standards. Troubleshoot and repair uncommon brake systems, and communicate clearly and professionally with customers.

What You Will Do

As a Crane Service Technician, you will work on complex 3-motion cranes with auxiliaries, diagnose mechanical components, and maintain accurate service records. You will also communicate effectively with customers and mentor junior technicians.

Why It Might Be a Fit

This role requires strong knowledge of AC/DC theory, experience with Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs), and a proven ability to troubleshoot 480VAC 3-phase motor control systems. If you have a strong aptitude for both electrical and mechanical work environments, this could be a great fit.

Requirements

  • Strong knowledge of AC/DC theory
  • Ability to troubleshoot 480VAC 3-phase motor control systems
  • Minimum 2 years of hands-on electro-mechanical maintenance experience
  • Aptitude for both electrical and mechanical environments
  • Familiarity with mechanical and electrical equipment
  • Willingness to work overtime
  • Possession of a valid driver's license with good driving record
  • Must pass drug-screen and background check
  • Strong communication skills
  • Proven commitment to safety
  • Comfort with working at heights
  • Experience in Variable Frequency drives and PLC programming a plus
  • Crane maintenance experience a plus
