Role OverviewThe Credit Analyst is responsible for reviewing condominium and cooperative housing projects to determine eligibility under investor, regulatory, and lending guidelines. The role requires strong analytical and research skills, attention to detail, and the ability to interpret complex lending guidelines and regulations.
What You Will Do
The Credit Analyst will conduct detailed reviews of property-related documentation, including homeowner association (HOA) financial statements, board documents, insurance policies, litigation records, property inspection reports, and safety and health-related information. The incumbent will evaluate projects against agency, investor, and portfolio guidelines, analyze supporting documentation, request additional information when needed, and issue project approval decisions.

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience
- Typically one to three years of relevant experience

- Experience interpreting and applying mortgage lending, investor, and regulatory guidelines
- Strong analytical and research skills
- Knowledge of mortgage underwriting principles, secondary market guidelines, and lending regulations
