Role Overview

The Crisis Contact Center Specialist will be the voice of hope for individuals in crisis, providing compassionate support and connecting them to life-saving resources. The role is a hybrid of in-person and remote work, with a competitive pay and great benefits. What You Will Do

The specialist will answer calls, texts, and chats from individuals in emotional or mental health crises, provide compassionate support, and connect callers to life-saving resources. They will also document interactions clearly to ensure continuity of care.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree + 1 year in human services
  • Backgrounds in social work, psychology, counseling, or criminal justice
  • Experience in crisis response, mental health services, shelters, or hotlines

  • Recent grads with relevant internships
  • Crisis-related experience preferred

  • $24.00 - $26.60/hour + $4.00 shift differential for qualified hours worked
  • Spanish- or Portuguese-speaking applicants who are hired and pass certification after 90 days on the job will get an additional $.75 per hour (an additional $1.50 per hour for both languages)
