Job Description
The Crisis Counselor provides crisis support, structure, mentoring, and coaching to youth while providing a safe and nurturing environment. They work in collaboration with the treatment team towards stabilizing youth and perform case management duties as needed.

Requirements

  • Assist clinician in intake process
  • Intervene in the youth’s behavior as needed
  • Work in coordination with the parent and/or social worker as treatment team members
  • Engage the youth in therapeutic activities and projects
  • Complete daily progress notes and quarterly summaries
  • Provide supervision for visits with family when necessary
  • Participate in weekly supervision with the supervisor
  • Maintain accurate documentation and paperwork
  • Provide on-call response as part of a multi-disciplinary team
