Critical Care Tech Surgical Care Unit

As a Critical Care Tech, you will perform direct and indirect patient care in collaboration with an RN or Physician, playing a vital role in patient support. Your duties include placing orders, receiving and stocking department supplies, and assisting support staff with filing, medical records, and assigned daily tasks.

What You Will Do

Perform a variety of technical tasks (i.e., IV insertion, splinting, wound care, etc.) as directed by the RN or physician according to established clinic policies, procedures and standards to provide quality patient care within hospital and/or department guidelines.

Why It Might Be a Fit

To be successful in this role, you will possess relevant certifications or experience as a Critical Care Tech, CNA, or medical assistant, ideally in an acute care setting. You will demonstrate strong interpersonal and communication skills, capable of empathetically interacting with patients and collaborating effectively within a multidisciplinary team.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• Emergency Medical Technician Certificate and IV Therapy Certificate or EMTA or EMTI or Paramedic Certificate
