Crush/Convey Repair Employee

As a skilled mechanic, you will perform diagnostic, maintenance, installation, and repair of crush and conveying equipment and related systems. You will assist with and perform component removal, repair, and installation of jaw and gyratory crushers, vibratory screens, conveyors, dust suppression/collection systems, mobile conveying systems, etc. You will be responsible for maintaining work orders and performing work area inspections.

What You Will Do

Your main day-to-day responsibilities will include performing mechanical and lubrication preventative maintenance, such as changing filters in the dust collection systems, checking screens, oil levels, and lubrication systems. You may perform welding and fabrication, operate mobile equipment, and perform housekeeping duties.

Requirements

• One (1) year of experience in Crush/Convey mechanical/maintenance or a combination of education and experience in industrial mechanical repair and maintenance
• Must have completed academic and practical competencies required (this includes Line of Progression requirements for internal employees where LOP Exists) and have experience demonstrating the required aptitude
• Ability to understand and apply verbal and written work and safety-related instructions and procedures given in English
• Ability to communicate in English with respect to job assignments, job procedures, and applicable safety standards
