Role Overview

The Cryogenic Technician is responsible for installing, repairing, refurbishing, inspection and maintenance on cryogenic equipment, including cryogenic bulk and micro bulk storage tanks. They will ensure the proper function of the gas storage and distribution equipment while upholding a safe work environment.

What You Will Do

Install equipment, perform maintenance repairs, troubleshoot, calibrate, service and repair equipment, conduct site surveys, prepare documentation, respond to service requests, and install process piping.

Why It Might Be a Fit

The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical ability, ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing, and possess a valid Class D Driver's License to travel to customer sites.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalency
  • Technical College degree or equivalent is preferred
  • 2+ years of previous plumbing or other relevant technical experience
  • 2+ years of cryogenic system equipment experience is preferred
  • Working knowledge of positioning equipment, welding application, and equipment is an asset
  • Skilled in working with electricity and electrical components
  • Strong mechanical ability
  • Ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing
  • Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines and work on multiple projects simultaneously
  • Must possess a valid Class D Driver's License to travel to customer sites
