Role Overview

The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented high-volume manufacturing environment and work constructively with a cross-functional team of manufacturing personnel, engineers, and technicians. The individual in this role will focus on taking 200mm process to the next level of control and excellence to transition smoothly into large-scale manufacturing.

What You Will Do

Develop, monitor, and characterize equipment, raw material, and process impact to quality, yield, and cost of the SiC substrate production process. Drive project initiatives forward to enable high-volume manufacture of 200mm SiC, work with R&D team to define, qualify, and transition processes from research through development and production.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Materials Engineering or Materials Science
  • 2 years Engineering experience in a manufacturing environment troubleshooting equipment, material, or process impact on product quality and yield
  • Strong organizational and planning abilities, independent thinking, attention to detail, and excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent MS Office skills
