Role OverviewAssist in coordinating events at the Center for the Study of Race and Democracy (CSRD). Assist in the creation, implementation, and coordination of events and speaker series for the Center. Assist with logistics and other administrative tasks for other programming offerings and opportunities at the Center.

Assist in coordinating events, creating and implementing events and speaker series, and performing administrative tasks.
Why It Might Be a Fit
Strong communication and organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to prioritize tasks are required. Experience with event planning and UT Austin policies and procedures is preferred.
Requirements
- Current graduate student at The University of Texas at Austin
- Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strict attention to detail, independent, dependable, and proactive
- Strong grammar and proofreading skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite
- Excellent time management and organizational skills; ability to prioritize in order to manage a large workload on tight deadlines
