Role OverviewUnder the direction of the Director of Medical Imaging Services, works closely with the Chief/Lead Technologist and Radiologists to perform diagnostic computerized tomography (CT) examinations, contributing to the efficient operation of the department and promoting the philosophy of the organization, to ensure the quality and continuity of patient care for patients of all ages.
What You Will Do
Operates CT related radiographic equipment, performs radiological procedures, operates the PACS, and utilizes radiographic supplies per department standards. Manages the work flow of the department to ensure completion of work assignments, identifies each patient, reviews orders for consistency, and records pertinent data in RIS/PACS. Reviews each examination for technical accuracy, presents completed examination to Radiologist, and communicates pertinent data to persons responsible for the care of the patient.
