Role OverviewPerforms diagnostic exams and studies under the direction of a radiologist to ensure safe, high-quality patient care. Works in the Imaging Services department and reports to the Imaging Supervisor.
What You Will Do
Administers ionizing radiation, positions patients, selects exposure factors, and initiates exposure. Adapts imaging procedures to ensure quality diagnostic outcomes and selects appropriate patient care plans.
Why It Might Be a Fit
Requires a graduate of an American Registry of Radiological Technologists (ARRT) program, BLS certification, and CT certification through ARRT or within 9 months of hire. Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment, manage technical equipment, and care for patients with infectious diseases.
Requirements
- Graduate of an American Registry of Radiological Technologists (ARRT) Program
- BLS through American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- CT certification through ARRT or within 9 months of hire
- Current CT registration and licensure by the Arizona Department of Health Services (AZDHS)
- Current registration and licensure by the ARRT
