Role OverviewThe CT Technologist performs Computed Tomography procedures at Vanderbilt Health, a large academic health system with eight hospitals and over 180 clinics. This role is within the VIS Clinical OHO organization and involves providing world-class care to patients in the Mid-South region.
What You Will Do
Perform all computed tomography procedures according to established protocols, including preparing and administering contrast media, performing venipuncture, and processing images. Complete RIS transactions for accurate patient records and billing, perform visual maintenance checks on equipment, and provide radiation protection. Communicate with hospital staff and physicians to exchange patient information and participate in on-call coverage as needed.
