Role OverviewPerform various duties to assist in the day to day operations of the packaging production line, with a Safety-minded attitude that maintains and enhances a Safety-culture for the benefit of the Company and its employees.
What You Will Do
Performs all duties and requirements in a safe and orderly manner. Maintains safe and clean work environment by complying with procedures, rules and regulations. Required to maintain rate of the packaging line operation being performed. Moves, stores and stacks materials and products by hand or with material handling equipment. Adjusts and monitors equipment, advising lead person of irregularities. Identifies line needs due to packaging/product quality and confers needs with lead person. Contributes to team effort by performing other duties as assigned and needed. Train hourly employees on various functions like palletizers, box machines, and forklift as needed.

Physical requirements include lifting in excess of 75 pounds on a consistent basis, tolerating extreme temperatures and heights, standing/walking 100% of the workday. This is a union position with benefits provided by the union upon completion of the 90 day probationary period, including medical, vision and dental as well as 1 week of paid time off after 1 year of employment.
