Job Description
The Culinary Banquet Supervisor will work with the Banquet Manager and Executive chef to manage the banquets team, functions, and the hourly kitchen employees. The role involves leading and coaching the team, inspecting the set-up of meeting and banquet functions, and producing a consistent, quality product that meets and exceeds the guests' needs in a timely manner.

Requirements

  • Leading and coaching the team towards achieving exceptional guest service and employee satisfaction results
  • Inspecting the set-up of meeting and banquet functions checking them against the Banquet Event Order
  • Supervising and assisting with the set-up of assigned banquet functions
  • Assisting in service of banquet functions as required
  • Assisting in banquet set-up as required
  • Supervising and assisting with the break down after the completion of functions
  • Inspecting the sanitation of all function space and storage areas
  • Producing a consistent, quality product that meets and exceeds the guests' needs in a timely manner
  • Monitoring food production, ordering, cost, and quality and consistency on a daily basis
  • Assisting with monitoring payroll costs and overtime
