Role OverviewThe Culinary Enrichment Teacher collaborates with other Teachers to implement and manage culinary-based educational enrichment programs and cooking classes. This role involves supporting instructional activities, preparing materials, and providing individualized attention to students to foster a dynamic and engaging learning environment centered around cooking and culinary arts.
What You Will Do
Review lesson plans weekly in advance, watch weekly recorded training videos, attend pre-semester teacher training sessions, communicate proactively with the Enrichments Manager or supervisors, prepare classroom materials and food efficiently, manage student behavior, engagement, and classroom flow, teach and reinforce kitchen safety and basic cooking skills, report in-class incidents promptly, and submit feedback after each class.
