Role OverviewWe are hiring a Culinary Outside Sales Representative in Aspen, CO to sell seafood products to restaurants, using culinary knowledge to help with sourcing, menu ideas, costing, and quality. This is a strong fit for chefs, sous chefs, kitchen managers, restaurant operators, or foodservice sales professionals.
What You Will Do
Research new opportunities, analyze customer business opportunities, develop and deliver sales presentations, maintain order guides and pricing files, and participate in developing sales and marketing plans.
Why It Might Be a Fit
We are looking for someone with a foodservice sales background, preferably in the seafood industry, and a culinary background. Ability to speak multiple languages is strongly preferred.
Requirements
- Foodservice Sales background (distributor, manufacturer, broker), seafood industry preferred
- Culinary background preferred
- Bachelor’s degree or related experience
- Ability to travel within assigned territory
- Ability to speak Spanish, French, Italian, Japanese, Mandarin Chinese, or other language
