Requirements

  • A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast-paced environment.
  • 1-2 years of previous pastry experience preferred
  • Culinary degree or related hotel experience is preferred
  • Capable of following recipes and able to communicate clearly with coworkers and management
  • Knowledge of proper temperatures and storage
  • Basic decorating and finishing skills
  • Understanding of pastry terminology and scaling accurately
  • Ability to multi-task and produce at a high-volume level
  • Able to stand for long periods of time
  • Resourceful, with ability to work independently and as a team
  • Willingness and desire to learn and grow
  • Must be able to work a flexible schedule including early mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends and holidays
