Job Description
The Culinary Services Manager is responsible for the daily operation of the culinary department, planning and organizing culinary services, and supervising culinary personnel. The manager must be certified and have knowledge of dietary practices and procedures, as well as the laws and regulations governing dietary functions in long-term care facilities.
Requirements
Certified Dietary Manager (CDM) certification
Ability to travel and attend educational offerings
Knowledge of arithmetic and units of measurement
Ability to read and write in English
High School Diploma or equivalent
CPR/BLS Certification
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
Leadership ability and willingness to supervise
Ability to plan, organize, and implement programs
Knowledge of dietary practices and procedures
HIPAA certification
