Job Description
We’re looking for a passionate Culinary Supervisor to join our world-class team at the Grand Hyatt Indian Wells Resort & Villas.

Requirements

  • Solid background in culinary arts and kitchen operations
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Basic computer skills and an understanding of how to manage costs
  • Education: degree or certificate from a culinary school is preferred
  • Experience: few years of experience working in a professional kitchen, ideally within a hotel or resort
  • Leadership Background: previous experience as a Lead Cook or in a similar supervisory role where you’ve managed others
  • Knowledge of Costs: basic understanding of how food costs, inventory, and labor (like overtime) affect the kitchen's budget
  • Communication Skills: able to speak and write clearly to coordinate with your team and other departments
  • Tech Skills: basic computer knowledge for things like checking schedules, emails, or logging hours
  • Certifications: valid food handler’s card or manager’s food safety certification
