Job Description
The Cultural Resources Section Manager will oversee the Northern California's Cultural Resources Section, including staff development, profitability, morale, quality control and marketing support. They will lead and support Section 106 compliance, NEPA, and CEQA efforts, and serve as a technical expert with recognized authority in an area of specialization.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Archaeology, Anthropology, Architectural History or closely related field
  • 5+ years of experience in planning, managing, and executing cultural resources investigations at the supervisory level
  • Registered Professional Archaeologist (RPA) certification
  • Experience with standard office products like Microsoft Office, Word, and Excel
  • Excellent communication and client interaction skills
  • Proven ability to manage multiple field crews
  • Successful candidates must be familiar with field study design and documentation, regulatory framework for cultural resource management, and GIS utilities
  • Cultural resource experience supporting a variety of industries, including utilities, transportation, and water
  • Cultural resource experience in a variety of geographic settings primarily in CA
  • Ability to travel
