Job Description
The State of Connecticut is recruiting a full-time, second (2nd) shift, Custodian position at Ella T. Grasso Southeastern Technical High School located in Groton, CT. The position involves performing custodial tasks and maintenance of areas such as classrooms, offices, auditoriums, wards, kitchens, dining rooms, and lavatories.

Requirements

  • Perform custodial tasks and maintenance of areas
  • Dust, mop, sweep, scrub, strip, wax and polish floors
  • Wash, dust and polish glass
  • Collect and dispose of all trash and recycling
  • Report needs for repairs
  • Perform minor maintenance
  • Inspect building for damage and report conditions to supervisor
