Custodian

The Custodian staff member is responsible for ensuring that all school buildings and grounds are clean, safe, functional, and well-maintained. This role supports the mission of St. Pius X Catholic High School by providing a welcoming and well-kept environment for students, faculty, staff, and visitors.

What You Will Do

Perform daily cleaning and sanitizing of classrooms, restrooms, offices, hallways, cafeteria, gym, and common areas. Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, and polish floors and surfaces as needed. Refill restroom supplies and empty trash/recycling bins throughout the facility. Set up and tear down for events, meetings, and school functions. Assist with snow removal and salting of walkways during inclement weather.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
