Role OverviewThe Custodian ensures the entire school/facility is sanitized, cleaned, and maintained. Performs minor or routine maintenance on custodial equipment and reports repairs needed, safety concerns, and school property damage to supervisor. Attends required trainings.
What You Will Do
Ensures entire school/facility is sanitized, cleaned, and maintained. Moves and arranges furniture, as needed. Performs minor or preventative maintenance on custodial equipment as needed; reports any repair needs, safety concerns, and school property damage to supervisor.

Requirements
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Ability to follow instructions

- Ability to use all assigned equipment in a safe manner
- Ability to be trained in cleaning methods
- Ability to attend and successfully complete required employee trainings provided by Wake County Public School System (WCPSS)
- Ability to consistently follow safety precautions
