Role OverviewThe Ohio Industrial Commission (OIC) is seeking an onsite individual with professional customer service skills to respond to telephone, electronic, and in-person inquiries from internal and external customers regarding claims processing procedures and claim/hearing status. The selected individual must demonstrate knowledge of customer service skills and the ability to learn transcription software.
What You Will Do
Under general supervision, the selected individual will utilize computer applications for research, data retrieval/verification, injured worker and claim updates, and inquiry resolution. They will also respond to AskIC requests, cover the Customer Service desk, and prepare documents using transcription & dictation equipment & software.

Requirements
- 3 months of experience in office practices & procedures
- 1 course or 3 months of experience in public relations or customer service
- 1 course or 3 months of experience in typing, keyboarding, data entry or word processing
- 1 course or 3 months of experience in operation of personal computer
