Role Overview

The Customer Service Associate is responsible for communicating with steamship lines, brokers, US Customs, and the trucking community, as well as supporting internal staff relating to yard, marine, and gate operations. This role involves assisting customers, investigating and resolving inquiries, and coordinating with internal staff and steamship lines to facilitate cargo movement.

What You Will Do

The main day-to-day responsibilities of this role include assisting customers with telephone and e-mail inquiries, investigating and resolving inquiries regarding container availability, and coordinating with internal staff and steamship lines to facilitate cargo movement.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent required

  • Good problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English
