CUSTOMER SERVICE ASSOCIATE TRAINEE PART TIME

Requirements

• Follow all Goodwill policies and safety procedures
• Possess professional etiquette
• Successfully process register transactions, handle money, count down a drawer, and ask every customer for a Round-Up donation
• Engage customers successfully using the following steps: greet every customer, focus on the customer, maintain a clean and organized store, walk, talk, and show, thank the customer, listen and respond appropriately to customer concerns, engage customers at the register, effectively manage the register line, use good phone etiquette, and provide short, clear, timely announcements
• Will receive cross-training as Donation-Utility Associate and Barcoder
• Train to complete opening and closing procedures
• Stock and maintain sales floor with newly processed merchandise
• Maintain a clean, organized sales floor
• Establish or identify prices of goods via the type of merchandise, identifying markings, or asking for help from an on-site manager or supervisor
• Utilize systems, including phones and paging systems and make regularly scheduled announcements
• Maintains interior and exterior of store in a neat, clean, and orderly manner
• Maintain a clean and neat personal appearance at all times
• Regular attendance is required
