Role OverviewThe Customer Service Manager oversees driver and motor vehicle licensing and registration, making services more convenient, efficient, and cost-effective. They report to the Administrative Officer 1 within the Bureau of Motor Vehicles (BMV) Special Case Unit.
What You Will Do
The Customer Service Manager will plan, coordinate, promote, and direct assistance and information services to respond to complaints, inquiries, and requests for information. They will greet and respond to in-person, telephone, and written inquiries in a professional, courteous, friendly, respectful, and timely manner.

The ideal candidate will have 12 months of training or experience in departmental operations and programs, policies, and procedures for assigned agencies, as well as experience in federal and state laws regarding the operation of assigned agencies.
Requirements
- 12 months of training or experience in departmental operations and programs, policies, and procedures for assigned agencies
- 12 months of training or experience in federal and state laws regarding the operation of assigned agencies
- 1 course or 3 months of experience in public relations
- 1 course or 3 months of experience in applications of mathematical, analytical, and/or statistical methods used in formulating and solving problems or in decision making
- 1 course or 3 months of experience in public speaking, speech, or communication
- 6 months of training or experience in supervisory principles/techniques
