Role OverviewThe Customer Service Representative I will work with internal and external customers to coordinate maintenance events on railcars, ensuring customer expectations are met while maintaining Quality Assurance metrics and communicating with the production team.
What You Will Do
Responsibilities include serving as the primary customer contact, engaging with Quality Assurance, ensuring customer expectations are communicated to the production team, and maintaining Customer Service KPI metrics.
Why It Might Be a Fit
The ideal candidate will have prior customer service experience in an industrial setting, 1-2 years' experience in railcar maintenance planning and fleet management, and industry knowledge of AAR, FRA rules, and Tank Regulations.
Requirements
- High School diploma required
- Prior customer service experience in an industrial setting required
- 1-2 years' experience in railcar maintenance planning and fleet management preferred
- Some Industry knowledge of AAR, FRA rules and Tank Regulations, SDS and safety rules knowledge
- Excellent verbal, written, and electronic communication skills
- Proficient in verbal and written English skills
- Ability to pay strong attention to detail, exceptional organizational skills, and ability to multitask
- Computer proficiency in MS Office applications and other applications including billing systems and ERP systems
