Role OverviewThe Customer Service Representative provides excellent customer service in a courteous, friendly, and attentive manner, greeting customers as they enter and thanking them as they leave. They assist customers with purchases, operate cash registers, and perform various housekeeping duties to maintain the store's cleanliness and condition.
What You Will Do
The Customer Service Representative will ring up sales, handle money, checks, and other types of payment, and perform multi-function operations of fuel consoles, lottery machines, and money order machines. They will also maintain adequate stock levels, place advertising and pricing signage, and control merchandise, cash shortages, and other selling expenses.
Why It Might Be a Fit
The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or GED, experience in retail sales, and the ability to accurately operate various equipment, communicate effectively, and perform essential duties and physical functions. They will also be able to work as scheduled, including arriving on time, and provide regular and predictable onsite attendance.
